The Producer Price Index (PPI) in South Africa is a measure of the average change in the price of products and services offered by manufacturers and producers in the wholesale market over a specified period of time.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the ZAR while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the ZAR.
